Communities In Schools of Nevada is seeking an Affiliate Executive Director responsible for the overall management, leadership, and sustainability of the affiliate. This includes overseeing internal operations, resource development, community building, and program management to implement the Communities In Schools (CIS) model of integrated student supports. The Executive Director maintains strong relationships with the State office and school districts and ensures adherence to National Accreditation Standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Organizational Management: Develop administrative systems, annual operations plans, and long-range strategic plans.
  • State/Council Relations: Liaise with the State Office, assist with grant writing and fundraising, and manage the Affiliate Advisory Council.
  • Community & District Relations: Represent CIS within the community, develop partnerships, and negotiate school district contracts.
  • Resource Development: Execute fundraising programs and solicit donations.
  • Operations & Staffing: Supervise affiliate employees (1-19 staff) and school sites.
  • Reporting: Manage program evaluation, data tracking (CISDM), and reporting to State and National organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in public administration, education, social science, or a related field.
  • Seasoned management experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, training, fundraising, and leadership skills.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of youth and diverse populations.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Ability to travel to school sites and possession of an automobile.

Salary: $80,000 Annually

Location: Winnemucca, NV (On-site, Full Time 30+ hours)
